Crab Bruschetta

1 (8-ounce) French bread baguette 8 ounces flaked crabmeat or crab-flavored surimi seafood 1 cup tomato, chopped 1/4 cup yellow bell pepper, chopped 3 tablespoons fresh chives, chopped 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped

Cut baguette into 1/2-inch slices. Arrange slices in a single layer on a baking sheet; bake at 375 degrees F for 4 minutes. Turn slices over and bake 4 minutes. Cool completely. (May be done ahead.)

Combine remaining ingredients, stirring gently to mix. Spoon 1 tablespoon crab mixture onto each toast slice. Serve at once or bake at 425 degrees F for 2 to 3 minutes or until heated through out. Serve warm. Makes 52 pieces.
